I’m a brand-new D&D player looking to join a group on Saturdays or Sundays. I have zero experience playing, but I’ve created my first character—a half-elf Paladin with a story-focused background—and I’m really excited to learn and jump into my first campaign.
I’m hoping to find a patient and welcoming group that doesn’t mind showing a new player the ropes.
About Me:
New to D&D but ready to learn
Available on weekends (Sat/Sun/Mon – flexible on time but in CST)
Looking for a long-term or beginner-friendly campaign
Love character-driven stories, exploration, and group collaboration
If you have a spot open or are starting something soon, I’d love to join! Feel free to message me or comment below.

Long time D&D, AD&D enthusiast. First played in 1981, the Tom Moldvay Basic Box set.
Hello, we run 4hrs Weekly Sunday, 11am cst, +5GMT (4pm gmt). We need one more player, to catch-up an on existing campaign, starting level 3. (an elf paladin would kind of fit in perfectly with the group)

Hey Wicked Wonderland! First of all—welcome to the world of D&D! If you're excited to learn and looking for a welcoming, story-friendly community, I think you'd love The Nexus. We're a Discord-based, 18+ global D&D 5e community that’s very newbie-friendly and full of patient DMs and players who are happy to help newcomers get comfortable. Our setup is Westmarch-style with a twist: instead of one shared world, your character travels from a central hub to explore a variety of persistent worlds, each run by a different DM with their own lore, tone, and style. Most games are one-shots, which is perfect for learning the ropes at your own pace, though some DMs do offer longer arcs as well. We use 2014 5e rules with all official sources. You’ll start at level 3 using a 35 Point Buy system, and there’s no level cap—just a +10 cap on proficiency bonus, which encourages creative multiclassing as you grow. With your CST weekend availability, you’ll find no shortage of games—our community is global and has sessions running pretty much around the clock. We also offer text-based RP / play-by-post options if you want to explore your Paladin’s story even more between sessions.
