Currently on hiatus for a campaign that I've been running for the past few years for a small group of friends, and I feel like I'm getting a little out of touch on what it's like to be on the other side of the table. I guess you could say that I need some new inspiration and another perspective. Also I just really miss playing.
I'm available mostly on weekends and I'm in the EST time zone. I love meaningful roleplay between characters, lore, and little silly details that are irrelevant but make the world seem more filled out. Looking for an online game, but if there's any in-person games close enough (Blair County PA, USA), I would be open to that too.
I first started playing about five or six years ago. I haven't been a player for a few years and I've never been in a campaign that went past level 15, so I'm kind of rusty. I also never got a chance to play or run the newer edition and all my resources are for 5e, so a 5e campaign would be preferable. Or a really patient group that plays the newer edition that wouldn't mind helping me adjust.

Hello. I might have space in a Sunday Evening campaign online...free demo of Fantasy Grounds is all that is needed. I have all the necessary books etc for 5E including new 2024 stuff.
3 hour sessions (EST would be 9 pm-12 pm MAX- never more.)
Sounds like you’re in the perfect spot to jump back in as a player and get that fresh perspective. We run a West Marches-style online D&D 5e community with multiple DMs and campaigns, so you can jump into different games and find a style that fits your love for deep roleplay, lore, and world-building details. Most games are live voice sessions, mostly on weekends too, and there are some play-by-post options as well.
We’d be happy to welcome you and help with any 5e edition questions as you get back into it!
