Availability: Limited to Friday evenings around 7pm or later (EST)
Preferred role: Player
Game style: I'm versatile and my play style depends on the character but I prefer to have my character development be tied to choices and events in game so I'm not sure how a character will be until the story unfolds. So I guess the Game Style I prefer is character driven storytelling.
We're an 18+ LGBTQAI+ friendly Westmarch-style server where each DM runs their own homebrew world, so there’s a great mix of tones, themes, and storytelling approaches. As a long-time DM, you’ll likely appreciate the creative freedom and variety of perspectives, and as a player, you’ll get plenty of room to let your characters evolve naturally through in-game choices and story arcs.
We play using the 2014 D&D 5e ruleset with all official content available. Characters start at level 3 with a generous 35 Point Buy, and there's no level cap—making it ideal for players who enjoy long-term character growth. We support D&D Beyond with content sharing, and also offer G-Sheets and Dicecloud for character management depending on your preference.
Sessions are one-shots with campaign-like continuity, and we run games every day across global time zones—including Your Friday evenings—so you should have no trouble finding games that match your availability. We also support Play-by-Post and TRP options if you ever want to dive into a slower-paced, text-driven story.
If that sounds like your kind of setup, check out our listing here. We'd love to have you bring your storytelling expertise to the Nexus!
