About Me
I've only been dm'ing for less than a year but I've been able to keep a steady stream of sessions going and have been constantly improving myself as a dm. Before I ever picked up a set of dice I knew that I would want to move into the dm space and I have had a ton of fun since. Many of the sessions that I've run have been with brand new players and it's been a ton of fun seeing them learn the game, but I've also run games for 20+ year veterans. Even though I own a few official campaigns I love homebrewing and adding a new flair, or twist, to something people already know.
Being a DM has allowed me to express my creativity in ways I never thought I could and it's the greatest gift to be able to share it with people, and I'm constantly in pursuit of improvement so people can enjoy the games and worlds I create as much as I enjoyed making them in the first place.
I've enjoyed DM'ing so much that I'd like to dedicate more time to it, but right now the only way I can do that is if it's also generating revenue. I'm signed up with Startplaying as a GM but don't have a lot of reviews. Players that have said they would leave reviews haven't. So while this is tagged as paid because there's the possibility of a paid session I'm more than open to a free session just to get reviews. You can find my games here (https://startplaying.games/gm/alex-wachowski)
Expectations
Experience: Open to all, whether experienced party member or if this is your first call to adventure.
Communication: Vocal interaction through discord is the only requirement, video participation is optional.
Age: 18+ While these sessions won't delve into NSFW content, I'd rather not monitor your out of RP conversations.
Be Respectful: This is a social game that requires working with other people. Intolerance will not be tolerated and causing unnecessary disruptions to the campaign will be reviewed.
Content Warnings: I will ask all players if there is content they would like me to avoid, but in general the worlds of D&D explore more mature concepts through violence and social issues.
Role-play: Role-play is encouraged but not necessary. I try my best to create an immersive atmosphere, including my best attempts at voices, and simply ask that you help me out. Your character doesn't have to have an accent different from your own nor does your speech have to be "period accurate" (ie using the word forsooth isn't necessary.)
Feel free to reply either here, on Discord (AlexWachowski), or on Startplaying with the following information.
Experience level (I'm 100% down to help you learn, but I just need to know you need that help!)
Are there any specific adventures you want to play, or are you open to anything?
What times work for you and how often do you want to play? (Please base this off the above schedule, feel free to give me all your times minimums and maximums.)
What do you want from this experience? (Are you looking to learn, Get into some deep role-play, maybe tear up the enemy in combat?)
Do you have any concerns? (I'd rather you voice them as soon as you have them!)
Looking forward to taking you on an epic adventure soon!!
Hey there! I am looking to add more D&D into my week. I am not new to D&D per se; I was just rusty, as I hadn't really played in years before this past June. There are no specific campaigns I want to dive into, and I am open to playing anything.
Availability
Sunday: noon - 10:00pm
Monday: 4:00pm - 10:00pm
Tuesday: 9:00am - 4:00pm

Thursday: 8:30pm - 12:00am
Friday: 8:30pm - 12:00am
Saturday: 6:00pm - 10:00pm
What am I looking to get from this experience? I hope to learn more as I am by no means an expert as well as rip some NPCs up in a fight. I do like role-playing moments, but would like to get better.
Hey, I'm looking for a D&D group to play with. I'd say I have a medium amount of experience. I've played in multiple campaigns before. I'm open to any kind of adventure.

Confused about game times posted. I'm in Colorado, looking to play weekly or every other week. I have a Lvl 5 Cleric and Lvl 3 Bard (current fav). Is weekly or bi something you're entertaining?
