I’m an adult player based in the UK, looking to join a friendly group for a long-term, weekly D&D 5e campaign. I don’t have tons of experience actually playing at the table yet, but I’m very familiar with the game through watching actual play shows like Critical Role and playing plenty of Baldur’s Gate 3 — so I understand the basics and love the combat and puzzles aspect and happy to lean into RP.
I’m really keen to find a group that’s welcoming to newer players but still takes the game seriously enough to get invested in the characters and story. Ideally I’d love a campaign that runs once a week, preferably evenings (UK time), with other adults who enjoy a good balance of fun, teamwork, and storytelling.
I’m confident and happy to jump into voice/video on Discord or any other platform, and I’m reliable — if I commit to a game, I’ll be there.
If you’ve got a spot open or you’re forming a new group and think I’d be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you! please feel free to DM me.
I have a game perfect for you. It has the blend you are looking for, 4 other players who are all older and experienced enough to lend a hand. We play every Sunday from 12noon to 3-4pm EST (6-7 to 10-11 GMT/GMT+1). It's a homebrewed version of Faerun/Forgotten Realms.

have a look at my thread and see if it fots, we're uk based and have a long running game which is a easy going, no rule goblins and a really nice environment to learn in.
