Aserian—a world on the edge of a knife. The west is divided, and the east is coming with intentions to conquer. Malaskar, an ancient dragon, has bided his time for thousands of years, rebuilding in the east after his death and first failed attempt to dominate the world—an attempt that nearly succeeded thousands of years ago. He’s returned, and no one knows how, but he’s returning with an army nigh incomprehensibly large and will arrive soon. Dragons subservient to Malaskar the Destroyer darken the sky. Hordes of slaves march in front of plate-armored Dragonborn. Fire giants, who betrayed their own kin to swear themselves to the great wyrm, bolster their ranks. The air will soon be filled with smoke and blood—the Dominion is approaching.
Hello! My homebrew world and current table has been playing for over a year, and sadly, we have one of our original players leaving due to life circumstances. The past year has been about the players discovering something looming in the east but being unsure what it is, and now knowing the threat are scrambling to find allies. History has been lost or ignored over thousands of years, and no one in the west is prepared for what’s about to arrive. The players have been scrambling, trying to get the west to stop their petty squabbles and warn the powers that be of the threat on their doorstep. They are currently level 12, and I have every intention of getting the party to level 20 by the end of the campaign. In my world and at my table, you can expect very heavy roleplay, lots of story and lore, adventure, political intrigue, mystery, and of course, combat. This is not a hack-and-slash campaign, so if you are looking for 50% or more of every session to be combat, then this is not the table for you. I aim to have a healthy mix of roleplay, story, adventure, and intrigue taking up a good portion of the adventure, but of course there is combat. It is not guaranteed every session, but depending on the region the players are in and the factors surrounding them—especially with the war about to begin—combat will become more common, but will never be the dominant focus of my table or its players. We are looking for one person to immerse themselves and be just as invested as we are and have been.
We meet every Saturday at 1 p.m. CDT/CST and play until 5 p.m., but occasionally will push it to 6 p.m. if everyone is able to and circumstances demand it.
If you’re interested in joining a table that is roleplay-heavy, lets you develop and explore your character, where backstory matters, where choices matter, where success isn’t guaranteed but neither is defeat, and the scales are world-spanning—I’d love for you to take the questionnaire!

Just finished my application this campaign sounds great and I love the lore of it already.
Hey, I’m actually very interested in joining. I have a few characters already in mind if you don’t mind dumb muscle heads. I’d love to participate.
Thank you for your interest! Please fill out the questionnaire if you’re interested.
