Game: Preferably D&D 5e, but I’m also open to similar systems or even light sci-fi. Group preferred: Online Experience: 0 actual TTRPG experience. I know a bit from YouTube/memes but never played before. Location/Timezone: WITA (UTC+8) Availability: Flexible. I’m in UTC+8 but don’t live by that clock. Can flip sleep easy, so US/EU times are fine. Preferred role: Player Game style: I’m looking for casual gameplay. I like groups that can laugh and joke but still drop into roleplay when it matters. Substantial roleplay, but not full-on theater. I also want to learn D&D combat - I don’t mind some min-maxing if it makes sense for the character, just not hardcore competitive vibes. Same with rules: I’m fine with them, but I like when the table can bend things a bit for story or comedy instead of treating the book as law. Ideally starting level 3-5 so I can actually use class features while learning. I learn fast, but I’m new - patience appreciated. I also tend to hyperfocus and overthink random details. Like, if you describe a windmill, I’ll probably end up talking about flour dust explosions and trying to weaponize it. So yeah, a bit nerdy and chaotic, but always meant in good fun.
