Game: D&D 5e / Cyberpunk Red / VtM Group preferred: Online Experience: Returning DM, some recent experience with an in person game. Location/Timezone: U.S. Central Time Availability: Friday-Sunday evenings mostly, but open to any evening Preferred role: DM Game style: I'm open to a wide variety of play, traditional high fantasy, urban intrigue, etc. It really depends on what the group is into.
I realize this is quite vague. As stated above, I was a regular DM over ten years ago in the D&D 3.5 days. I recently started playing again and am currently Dm'ing a face to face group but the cadence is not very often. I am looking for 3-5 players who would be willing to meet maybe once per week for an online game.
Hi, I am very new to dnd's form of rpgs, but if I could join a group you make that would be awesome. I totally understand if you are looking for more experienced players. Also, I am wondering what channels it would be played on. Like would we use this, discord, or some other thing. I am just saying this because I do not have discord.
Hi! I would love to be part of a weekly online game. Right now I play in a mostly-weekly 5e campaign on Tuesday nights and have been supplementing with a one-shot here and there, but it would be great to have another regular, consistent thing. My play experience is all 5e, mostly in person, but I've done a few online one-shots through Owlbear Rodeo/D&D Beyond/Roll 20. I'm pretty open as far as game settling/style, but in transparency I'll say that although I take the game seriously, I sometimes have trouble taking myself seriously and so can be a little goofy. I definitely try to match the vibe of the table, but I'm not a good fit for a super edgy, straight grimdark setting, no matter how much I wish I was. (My personal journey has been letting go of my desire to be Stephen King and embracing my inner Grady Hendrix. And learning the sneak attack improves with level. Let's not talk about how long I rolled it as 1d6.)
New players are perfectly fine. What experience do you have, if any, with D&D or role playing games in general? I'm not sure what platform to use for the game, I'm looking at a few VTTs but they all seem like a lot of extra work to learn. I am leaning toward Foundry at the moment.

Hey Ohmancer,
I'm interested in a weekly game. Also in CST. Friday and Saturday evening/night would work for me.
Currently campaigning with a lvl 4 Fighter (5th edition). Using roll 20 and DnD beyond for sessions. Look forward to seeing where this thread goes.

@bignumber
Goofy is awesome, I don't know if I'm a great fit for edgy or grim settings either.
@UncrewedOwnU
I've tried roll20 and found it hard to use. Though I didn't give it a really deep dive. How would you feel about Foundry?
