Game: D&D 5e (Original Edition) Group type: Online (Through Discord) Experience: All Location/Timezone: Cental Time Schedule: Sunday 7pm-9pm Roles sought: 2 more Players Game style: Casual, Role-Play, Keystone Combat Encounters
LMK if you would be interested in and I can tell you about the campaign! Already have 2 players looking for 2 more. Looking for older players 25+
Experience: 2 years with D&D, played various games very similar to D&D for most of my life. New to online D&D as I am having trouble finding in-person groups.
Character: I am a huge Raven Queen fan (especially the Critical Role version), so almost always play a Shadar-Kai Warlock, Paladin, Eldritch Knight Figher, or Cleric. I have one character I am doing an in depth build of now - an Aasimar Undying Warlock
Play Style: I am a huge fan of combat (prior military) and am working out roleplaying, though I have some social anxiety I am working thru. I roleplay much better as time goes on and I get to know the group better.
Hey! Thank you for expressing interest in my campaign. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly group. No specific house rules there is a lot of room for homebrew in my campaign. We did have a gunwielding sorcerer at one time which has added a vague layer of Lite Steampunk and Guns to the classical high fantasy setting.
Welcome to Ostegard and land of fantasy similarly named to but legally distinct from the Ostagar of the Dragon Age series. The lands of the west in Civil Ostegard feature idyllic cities of nobility and everyday citizens. Transportation across The Great Lake is a keystone of the Civil Ostegardian economy. Some of the resources of this island are provided for this region come from the mines and farms along its eastern border. The bulk of the resources, however, is sourced from the Abundant Wastes on the eastern side of the island. Many scientists study the Abundant Wastes hoping to be the first to discover which magic allows such a widespread desert to be so fertile in the cultivation of agriculture. The Lost Valley bisects the Eastern and Western sides of Ostegard. Bordered by impassable mountain ranges, this region is only accessible through its Ports. The Lost Valley region is an unsettled and largely uncharted region of crime and chaos. This region serves as the home of Orcs, Druegar, Tieflings and other less savory types. Fort Sharandon watches tirelessly over the Gulf of Golgoth to promote the free legitimate trade in the region and dissuade the pirates, smugglers, and ne’er-do-wells of the Lost Valley and Thieves Haven. Little is known about the mysterious Thieves Haven, its name spoken through whispers in the dark. Even less is known of the Deadwood to the south. Also there are guns.
hiii im magleord8521/mystic im VERY interested; im a avid dragon age fan and your campaign fits with my schedule if you can reach out to me at mysticknight8521 on discord and we can talk. i usually play arcane spellscasters or sometimes healers! im a 33 year old gaymer and have 3+ years of experiance of playing and dming but im no longer dming for now!
This sounds like exactly the kind of game I’ve been hoping to find — story-driven, character-focused, and with a DM who clearly puts care into world-building. The setting for Ostegard already has my imagination running: politics, factions, mystery, and even a touch of steampunk flair — I love it.
I’m a roleplay-heavy player who thrives in collaborative storytelling. My current concept is a Celestial Warlock (Haunted One) — a character drawn to light but constantly tested by shadow, which I think could fit beautifully into a world like yours where faith, power, and corruption seem to blur. I’m flexible though, and happy to adapt or build something that best complements your party’s story.
I’m reliable, respectful of table dynamics, and genuinely invested in making the game feel immersive and fun for everyone. Sunday evenings (7–9 PM CST) work perfectly for me.
If you still have an open seat, I’d love to hear more about the campaign and see if I’d be a good fit for the group.

Sure, I'd be interested in learning more. Setting? LGBTQ+ friendly group? Any house rules? etc. etc.
I'd be interested in learning a bit more about the campaign
I’m interested in learning more about this. Unfortunately a group I’ve been playing with is taking a hiatus so I’m looking to fill the gap.
