(The pirate's paradise) is unofficially controlled by a republic of pirate captains who value personal freedom of choice and true equality. While these crews have an aggressive streak and are liable to rob any ships that stray into their waters, they are also a reasonable lot who will often let their unsuspecting victims live, albeit without their belongings. The dangers of this paradise lie not only with the pirates, but also the vast number of sea monsters that lie in the murky blue depths. The official government of the Sunlit Spires controls the continent in name alone. While they hold power given by their traditionally allied nations, the power they hold has diminished greatly over the great pirate golden age.
Turim is the center of magical learning and experimentation. The Mirim Academy dominates the capital, where students, professors, and rival cabals vie for power and prestige. The leyline network runs under the city, sometimes dangerously unstable, and secret experiments occur in hidden labs throughout the region.
Smoke stacks pierce the skies of Olgren, where steel and steam drive the heart of an industrial nation. Endless railways crisscross the land, carrying goods, weapons, and workers across vast distances. Guild banners hang above crowded stations, while the hiss of engines and the clang of forges echo day and night. Here, technology is king, and magic—though present—is eyed with caution, tolerated only when it serves industry’s demands. Olgren thrives on invention and structure, but the price is steep. Strikes and protests rise against ruthless guildmasters, sabotage gnaws at the edges of progress, and whispers of war grow louder. Across the border, Beah’ra, the rival arcane society, embodies all Olgren fears: wild magic and unchecked power. Each season, the balance tilts closer to open conflict.
Rising from the crashing surf, the white stone cliffs of Miril are crowned with temples, monasteries, and fortress-shrines that gleam like beacons of faith. This land is considered sacred by many across Tenerra, its roads winding with endless pilgrims who come seeking miracles, blessings, or atonement. Yet faith here is no gentle thing—belief is contested, holy ground is fought over, and devotion can be as sharp as any blade. The Conclave of Faiths claims authority, but their grip weakens as rival sects clash openly in the streets and crusading orders press for war against heretics. Pilgrims disappear without trace, shrines fall to corruption, and whispers of divine silence unsettle even the most devout. Miril Cliffs stands as both sanctuary and battlefield, where faith itself is tested.
A once-unified kingdom now fractured into three rival realms. Each kingdom claims the right to rule all of Valo, leading to centuries of war. Blood soaks the soil, alliances shift like shadows, and the dream of unity is as distant as the stars.
💀Isla Muertha💀 is steeped in dark folklore and supernatural occurrences. Misty forests, ruined villages, and cursed ruins dominate the landscape. Shadows conceal malevolent forces, and travelers often find that nothing is quite as it seems. Towns are isolated, superstitions run deep, and even local authorities may have secrets.
A formidable dwarven stronghold built by warrior clans who migrated long ago from Glacial End. Hardened by the icy trials of their homeland, the dwarves carved an impenetrable fortress into the mountains of Vexhara, using both their smithing mastery and battle discipline. Now, they stand as a mercenary power—their armies unmatched, their loyalty unshakable… so long as the price is paid.
