Due to scheduling, some of our normal group of friends that we play DnD with can't commit to a weekly or every other week campaign right now. So we thought we would check if there are any people in the area that fit in with our group of friends who could fill the spots for a new in-person campaign on Wednesday evenings!
About us:
Currently we have 3 people (we are roommates) who want to play and we are looking for 1-2 more (possibly 3 if the vibe is right). we are all 27-35 years old guys who like to take turns DMing, we aren't sure who's handling this new campaign yet, hell it could even be you if you are up for it. We are all fairly experienced in DnD, and we usually play somewhat goofy characters in worlds that have a mix of serious and comedic qualities. We like to RP but we don't take things too seriously most of the time, we like to think we know when to keep it light and when to turn up the seriousness, the DM usually sets the tone for us and that can differ from person to person.
Our worlds are always home brew, we love being creative. Some of us are more rules heavy than others and we are looking for someone who ideally understands the game but is willing to be flexible with if someone is attempting to dm who doesn't know the rules as well and can just go with the flow. We would be open to new players as well. if you are a hardcore rules lawyer it probably won't work (as much as I personally would love that, lol).
We really just want players or DM's that love playing DnD and get immersed in the game regardless of how silly they sometimes end up being. we want people who will be engaged, have opinions, and are easy to get along with. We are looking for people loosely around our age, male or female.
If you are interested, please message me a little about yourself and what you look for in a DnD campaign, and please ask as many questions as you like, we are both trying to see if the fit is good! Private messages are probably better but if u respond here that's fine
Thanks!
