Game: D&D 5e (2014) Campaign: Tomb of Annihilation
Time: Thursdays @7:30pm - 11:00pm EST (Weekly)
Location: Discord (Voice) & Roll20 (VTT)
Age: 21+
Players Requirements: A good mic, solid internet, the ability to speak clear English. You must also have a laptop or PC to play.
Welcome adventurers!
We're looking for 1-2 players with preferably at least moderate experience with 5e. You'll be taking on a difficult adventure set in and around the jungles of Chult. This campaign will take players from level 1 through somewhere around 11-13 (the group just hit level 3!)
The basic story background is something called the "death curse" has changed the world. The priceless miracle that is resurrection magic has been rendered useless, more and more seeming like a worldwide phenomenon. What's worse, anyone who's died in the past and been brought back now finds themselves weakened and frail, slowly wilting towards a looming, permanent demise.
On the entertainment side of things, I'll be doing lots of accents and voices for most, if not all, NPCs. There will be a variety of ambience tracks and music taken from anime, video games, fantasy YouTube channels, and movie scores. I also use a variety of API & macros to add some pizzazz, speed things along, as well as improve the overall quality of life.
About me: I've been GMing for the majority of four years, running three successful campaigns, one of which lasted almost two years. I focus on having a fun, well-rounded game with realism, immersion, and solid role-playing.
I'm looking for players with the spirit of adventure who take risks. Those who love to explore the unknown and solve puzzles. Most importantly, players who are willing to truly immerse themselves and role play with both the other players and NPCs.
If you're interested please reply with the requested information below.
Fair warning, I am somewhat familiar with the campaign as I had done some prep to try and run it a few years ago, but I always try my best to stay immersed and avoid metagaming.
