To put it simply, a west march campaign is an episodic campaign structure and play-style for traditional role-playing games that were designed explicitly for open table play. Different DMs host games and anyone can join depending on people's schedules. Think of it as like a massive D&D MMO, one big world, where everyone's choices can affect things.
Times: We have players and DMs all around the world, but most of us are in North America or Asia. So running and playing in games can be done whenever a time works for most people. Besides that it's up to availability in your schedule.
Btw, we are a new server that was made a few months ago, so we're still actively making updates and changes as of today. So for character creation and sheets, do not fret about the books, we have share campaigns on D&D Beyond which allow you to have access to all the books when making a character.
