The Amber-Mound is a Large scale moving Project for DnD 5E (2024) That I have spent a few years working on, and I am actively looking for Players. DMs. One Shot Quest Masters, Content Creators, and anyone else that would want to be apart of this moving world. MESSAGE ME If you are interested and Feel free to read through the Provided Documents I will send you and let me know what you think, This is aiming to be a 5e game world, similar to west march where we would want multiple moving Parties, ran by multiple DMs who meet frequently to establish a large narrative, but also Adding new Mechanics such as Hero Feature to establish this version of 5e as our own 6E, including the Twin Currents of Power Majik System. This systems Categorizes Majik in the world under two systems which define the very characteristics in how each are wielded, obtained and executed in the world.
Philosophy: "You are not separate from the world. You are the world."
Description: Veytus is the primal Majik of Gaudium—the breath of the earth, the whisper of beasts, the memory of stars. It is not cast, but remembered. Not summoned, but awakened. Veytus flows through root and bone, instinct and blood. It predates civilization and thrives in places forgotten by time. All who draw upon Veytus must do so with reverence or risk being unmade by its ancient will.

Barbarian – Rage born of storm and mountain.

The Silent Wound—a mystical scar on the world worshiped as the source of all Old Majik.
Power Risk:
Overuse causes users to slowly lose their identity to the wild or ancestral echoes.
Terrain may mutate around them—growing wild, aggressive, or sentient.
Revered in tribal communities, feared by cities, mythologized by Novus scholars.
NOVUS - The New Magic
Philosophy: "Power is not inherited. It is built. Refined. Perfected."
Description: Novus is the rising force of innovation—Majik distilled through study, doctrine, and human ambition. It is the chosen flame of the lesser gods, the fuel for pistons and pulses, and the key to unlocking the very structure of reality. Novus Majik is not drawn from the world, but imposed upon it. A sharp contrast to Veytus, Novus seeks control, evolution, and transcendence.
Source: Arcane formulas, divine contracts, synthetic rituals, experimentation, technological enhancements, and direct communion with the lesser gods of Gaudium.
Classes Aligned:
Artificer – Engineers of spell-tech and arcano-mechanics.

Cults that worship The Coil, The Mirrorborn, or The Clock of God.
Power Risk:
Novus corrupts through obsession—knowledge that wants to be misused.
High-level exposure can cause mutation, breakdown, or existential dissociation.
Region Presence:
Cities, research academies, underground labs, warfronts, forge-chapels.
Technology View: Integral. Magic and machine are one.
Cultural Perception:
Glorified in cities, distrusted in frontier regions, seen as heretical by Veytus worshippers.
Final Note: The two currents of Majik—Veytus and Novus—do not cancel one another, but instead pull Gaudium toward opposing destinies. One is to return to what was. The other is to become what has never been. The Amber-Mound stands at the fulcrum.
