In this campaign your choices shape the valley and your own fate. Who you trust matters. Shape your alliances with care. Conversations can save or condemn. Every action leaves a mark. Hope is rare, but it still flickers for those bold enough to keep it alive. This is a roleplay driven gothic horror sandbox focused on discovery, character arcs, and meaningful choices.
You start at level 1 and, after an introductory adventure, step back into the valley at level 3. Explore freely, dig into lost histories, and confront what waits in the dark. Combat is cinematic and costly, social encounters carry real weight, and quiet moments matter. Most scenes use Theater of the Mind, with tactical maps for combat and dungeon crawls.

We use D&D Beyond with shared content, and I will import the finished sheets into Foundry VTT before we play.

📖 Backstory Guidance: Keep your backstory short and focused, one page maximum and ideally two to three paragraphs. Focus on who your character is now and leave space to grow with the party and the story. Bring a flaw, loss, or regret that can evolve through play.
