Experience: Played DnD5e for 7 years consistently both in person and online with various groups. Completed multiple campaigns such as: Icewind Dale, Descent into Avernus, Tyranny of Dragon (both parts), Tomb of Annihilation, Curse of Strahd, etc... I have a bit of experience with other ttrpgs, mainly pathfinder and Knave. I'm most familiar with roll20 for virtual TTRPG but I'm willing and able to learn other systems.
Playstyle: I can pretty much play any class and roleplay a variety of character archetypes. I tend to shy away from Bard and Druid characters and tend to prefer Barbarian and Casters (I.E. Sorcerers, Wizards...). I like to have a 65/35 roleplay to combat ratio in the campaign.
What I'm looking for: I'm looking for a group of mature (18+) and fun loving players. Whether the campaign is serious or lighthearted, i want to make new friends who share my love of the game and maybe other topics.
You sound like you’d be an excellent fit for our 18+ LGBTQAI+ friendly community! We’ve got plenty of experienced players and DMs who enjoy both lighthearted adventures and deep, story-driven campaigns, so your balanced 65/35 roleplay-to-combat preference would fit right in.
We run a Westmarch-style setup, but with a unique twist — each DM runs their own world, so you’ll find a range of tones and playstyles, from gritty narratives to relaxed, social adventures. You can create multiple level 3 characters using a 35 Point Buy, and since there’s no level cap (only a +10 proficiency bonus limit), there’s tons of room to experiment with builds — perfect if you like swapping between casters and martial characters.
Our global community runs sessions every day, and we offer Play-by-Post/TRP options alongside voice games. Everything’s hosted on Discord, with DnD Beyond campaign links for content sharing, and we stick to the 2014 5e ruleset with all official content.
If that sounds like the kind of community you’d enjoy, check us out here. You’d fit right in with your experience and enthusiasm for storytelling.
