Every Thurs Night 7~10:30pm EST (break between) homebrew campaign with premade characters to choose from
Game: D&D 5e CORE rules (guidelines really) Group type: Online with discord (voice and text), using dndbeyond (premade character & maps) Experience: All experience levels welcome; just don’t be one of those ‘by-the-book rules mongers.’ If you’re flexible, creative, and down for a good time, thats what we're looking for Location/Timezone: East coast USA - Eastern Standard Time: 7pm to about 10-10:30pm (break somewhere in between) Schedule: Every Thursday night (but we understand life sometimes gets in the way: birthdays, anniversaries, vacations, etc) Roles sought: Looking for one or two players to play a premade character sheet, starting a level 1. Game style: We are playing casual game of short story, followed by map action. Expect to be playing this character for about a year plus.
Backstory:
You grew up in or around the small town of Hogford — a quiet farming community best known for its pigs, but also home to hard-working folks in lumber, agriculture, and furniture making. It's not glamorous, but it’s home.
Seeking a taste of something more exciting than hog slop and hay bales, you signed up with the town's Auxiliary Services — a polite way of saying “people hired to do the jobs too annoying, dangerous, or gross for the town guards.”
It’s through this humble work that you meet your current companions — not heroes yet, but certainly not nobodies either. You've already completed a few local contracts together:
Evicted a swarm of spiders from the mayor’s attic,
Retrieved Old Miss Hensey’s cat from the rooftops (for the third time),
And cleared the stables of a particularly bold rat infestation.
Now, Captain Manesh, the grizzled head of Hogford’s town watch, has summoned your crew for a new assignment.
“We’ve spotted shadowy figures entering the sewers. Small ones — smaller than halflings. Whatever they are, they don’t belong there. I want you to check it out. And if it’s something nasty… deal with it.”
