I am sending this blast notice to all of the players who have got my attention.
Thank you for your interest in my upcoming module. I wanted to provide a little more information so that you understand what I am looking for and what I can offer.
-- The schedule: I have a limited schedule for this module and it is a little weird, but I will try to explain. I plan for our first scheduled Session Zero to be either Monday, November 3rd or Tuesday, November 4th. I will poll the group to get your feedback on which of these is the best date for the group. After that, the next session will be in 2 weeks on either Wednesday, November 19th or Thursday, November 20th. After that, the next schedule will be in 2 weeks on a Monday or Tuesday.....and so, on and so on.
-- I am asking for the players to be 18+ (no minors).
--The module that we will be playing is THE SINISTER SECRET OF SALTMARSH. On your honor, I need you let me know if you have played this module, or if you are familiar. with it. It would be like reading a murder mystery and skipping to the back to find out who did it. Also, please don't research the module if I pick you to find out the "secrets"...it will severely damage your overall experience. If we are all having fun and want to follow up this module with a campaign, I may be open to continuing on if we are all clicking and having fun and if I don't have any other commitments.
-- I have several years of Dungeon Master experience and been playing online for a little over a year now. I will do my best to teach you the rules, but I do not pretend to be an expert. If you notice that I am not doing something right, PLEASE call me out on it. I am improving as a DM by making mistakes and learning from them, and I hope that attitude is reciprocal with you guys as well. ASK QUESTIONS, PLEASE!!!!! If you are not sure of something, ASK! I am very patient and remember my challenging experience when I first started ONLINE play. I almost quit out of frustration, and I don't want that to happen to you.
-- Next, the fun part. Well, it's homework, but I don't think that you will mind too much. Please reply and let me know what Races and Classes you would like to play. Please keep to the Races and Classes in the 2014 and 2024 Players Handbooks. They just fit better in the World of Greyhawk. We will be starting at Level 1.
So far, I have over a dozen candidates, and unfortunately, I will only be picking 5. I am looking for only NEW or Newish players who can make a reasonable commitment to attend bi-monthly sessions and want to learn the system together AND are unfamiliar with SALTMARSH. On my part, I will do my best to provide a great adventure.
Please reply if my mission statement above is OK with you and if you would like to go to the next phase.
Hello, Iam running a long term game of Pokemon5E centered around the alola region Here is some information about the game if you are interested
Game:pokemon5e through poke5e.app as a rulebook Players:Currently have 5 But we are looking for 6th Time: EST 1PM saturdays Game Style:We will be using a mix of Owlbear,poke5e.app and discord to organize the campaign DM style: (Rule of cool,Mixed RP and combat).
Here is the overall idea for the big campaign I wish to write a campaign about aspiring Pokémon trainers who set out to become the Pokémon Champion. They must Do all the 4 Grand trials, defeat the regional league, and then take on the International Pokémon League—all while starting with a single, semi-randomly‑chosen Pokémon and seeing how far they can progress.
If you are interested/Wish to know more details feel free to dm me wallydo._41111 on discord
Hello. You sound like the kind of player that I am looking for.
I am GM Chris, and I have been playing DnD for 23 (active) years, and have been GM/DM for most of that. I am hosting one brand new campaign on Roll20/Discord (a 'Bootcamp', mostly for brand new and returning players), AND I am actively converting my greatest story ever (my personal 'Magnum Opus') from my old spiral-bound notebooks into a digital format so that I can run it on Roll20 in near future. I am aiming for mid- to late-December, as I still have a lot of old notes that I need to convert over to digital format. I am approx 1/3 complete with the conversion. It will be (approx) a year-long campaign, running on Wednesday evenings, 5-9pm MST (7-11pm EST). It is a story about loss, despair and overwhelming odds in the beginning, but then transitions into a rise to power and strength in the middle, and wrapping up with glory and triumph, as you find yourself in the middle of a proxy war between two extremely powerful entities, concluding with an apocalyptic ending on par with the Spellplague. When I ran this story during 3.5 Edition (in 2014-2015), my players LOVED it, and stuck around for a whole year to play it through.
I would love to start up a conversation with you, to see if my upcoming long-term campaign is something you'd be interested in? Or even the New-and-Returning-Player campaign that starts in a week? In the essence of courtesy and full-transparency, I am heavily invested in books and resources (all of which are shared with you digitally), as well as Roll20 Pro and DNDBeyond Pro subscriptions, so I do kindly ask for a small 'donation' to play at my table, just to help offset the costs of all the materials (I am NOT doing this for 'income', but just to offset the cost of all the subscription services that I need, in order to provide the quality of gameplay that I want to deliver).
If you'd like to start up a conversation and see if this might be a good fit for you, you are welcome to message me on Discord: demanacus1486 I hope to hear from you soon. =) -GM Chris
