Hey! I'm Clover (he/him). I've been running 5e games on Roll20 for nearly 7 years and have been a professional dm for the past 4 years. I love great visuals, so I make or source custom maps (as shown here) and include art for most major NPCs, locations, and items.
The party has been invited, by the great wizard Gilgamesh to his mage’s tower in the remote wilderness. He requires some ingredients for a spell he is working on regarding his beloved familiar, a pig named Corkscrew. Each having been offered something to aid you personally, you all show-up to help the old peculiar mage.
📜 Campaign Information
System: D&D 5e 2014
Platform: Roll20 + Discord for voice
Cost: $5 via Startplaying, *****, or Startplaying.
This is a homebrew one-shot of my own creation which should last around 3 - 4 hours. The purpose of this one-shot is to try and source players for some longer paid campaigns I'm looking to run. If you are looking for a paid group but would like to dip your toes in first, this is the perfect way to try out a dungeon master to see if a group will be a good fit! This will be a light-hearted one-shot, concerning the beloved pig familiar of a wizard named Gilgamesh and will have some combat, roleplay, and exploration to try and show all of the available tools I have to offer.
*Dates and times are somewhat flexible, PM me to see if we can make things work.
❓ Why Professional DMs?
The cost associated with playing at this table helps cover everything needed to provide a safe and fun environment for playing TTRPGs, such as:
Provide a safe environment, by taking the time to use safety systems like Lines and Veils to make sure everyone is comfortable at the table.
Provide above and beyond what most modules have to offer. Meaning the above-mentioned custom maps, art, and music to fill in the blank spaces where the module doesn't exactly shine. I also have Xanathar's Guide, Player's Handbook, and Tasha's Cauldron available through the compendium.
Consistency. Most people joke that the final boss of TTRPGs is scheduling, which isn't entirely untrue. Being able to source players who are interested and committed to sticking around for the long run means that all you have to worry about is showing up and having a good time.
👥 About the Applicant
This group is open to anybody and everybody who would like to apply as I do not support discrimination of any kind (this group is LGBTQ+ friendly), that being said I have a few things I'm personally looking for in an applicant that I'd like to outline:
Please have access to Discord, Roll20, and a quality microphone so that you will be able to access everything needed to play in the campaign.
Please make sure you can routinely show up to the time listed, obviously real life happens but always try and shoot me a heads-up asap if you know you're going to miss as session.
Please be willing to interact, roleplay, and communicate with your fellow players and myself. I'm always open to feedback if it feels like something isn't working.
Please don't be afraid to get into character! All of us at the table myself included try our best to get immersed and tell a fun story, so no pressure to feel like you need to be a professional voice actor or storyteller.
❗ Apply
If you've made it this far feel free to drop an application at the listing here. After that I'll setup some discord interviews so we can have a quick chat about a couple things and from there on I'll send out invitations to the Roll20 game. I'm open to anyone that would like to apply as part of a pair or full group (which can be interviewed together for ease if needed).
The listed date is for the one-shot. We will not be making characters together so please show up with an idea, which I can help you flesh out if you need help with anything. If you're looking for a more direct form of contact you can message me on discord at CloverlessRobin.
