Our tiny group of 2 has a plentiful in ideas! (for homebrewed campaigns, characters, and backstories —) but what we don’t have yet, is the right people!!!
We (me and my lovely partner, both nerd birds ) are looking to form (or join depending)
a consistent group of professional, emotionally mature players who just want to unwind after a long day and enjoy collaborative storytelling through D&D!
We’ve spent years in this community running into three most common types: overly intense and dramatic “my-way-or-the-highway” players/DMs, emotionally unstable participants, and perpetual jokesters or meta-gamers. We’re done with that.

DNI (Do Not Interact)

• Minors — This group, and the group we want to play in, is 18+ only. We’re looking for like-minded adults who can engage respectfully and maturely and to become friends with! (we are in our 20s)
  
  
• Anyone looking for or hoping to do NSFW DND. - just no - While we may discuss mature themes (backstories, realm struggles) we do not reenact or roleplay that kind of material.

• Players or DMs who treat others as beneath them or can’t handle collaborative storytelling. We are a set of players that love to collab backstories and be invested in the world! or make a world detailed for players who run a game with us.

• Emotionally unstable or reactive individuals who can’t separate in-character conflict from real-world emotions.

• Rule lawyers or players who argue mechanics instead of enjoying the game - While we still follow the basic rules of course, some we bend during certain points in the story
  
  ex -- falling off a cliff -- dnd rule book states as soon as your off the cliff you plummet immediately unless you have the ability to fly or something to prevent your fall.
  In certain situations where a character needs to make a quick decision, we are a group to tweak some of those rules for the aspect of continuing a reasonable amount of fun and story telling.

• Jokesters, meta-gamers, or murderhobos who derail sessions for laughs or chaos. - While we don't have personal problems with these kinds of players, we are looking for middle ground players who can be serious, but provide laughs in the light hearted moments. 

• Mary/Gary Stu/edge lord self-inserts or players obsessed with being the “main character.”
• Anyone who refuses feedback, lacks self-awareness, or consistently creates drama.
• Anyone who can’t commit to respect, maturity, and teamwork.
  
  If you ignore this DNI list and attempt to reach out, do not be surprised if we magically go quite from messaging or remove you for not maintaining the safe space we are trying to make

Me and my partner prioritize professionalism, respect, and collaboration above all else! A safe space to relax, create, and tell great stories together — not to compete for control or attention. We want to chill!

While no specific campaign/Discord community server has been mad yet, the biggest goal is to establish a dedicated people for the group first! so that way we can play PLENTY of campaigns between a trusted group of people who clearly want to have fun and make memories.
