❄️ Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden Trial One-Shot — Players Wanted!
Hey Folks!
I'm looking for a few committed players to join my second Rime of the Frostmaiden group. Before assembling the party, I'll be running a short one-shot/trial set in Icewind Dale - a teaser adventure where new adventurers band together to face the frozen dangers and uncover what's behind this eternal night.
This one-shot acts as both a "session zero", vibe check, and a fun audition for the full campaign. It's a chance for us to see if we click before committing to a long-term story.
For context, I plan on running the full campaign Sundays at 7:00PM EST.
Adventure Premise
The icy frontier of Icewind Dale is trapped in an endless winter. The sun no longer rises above the horizon, and the people of the Ten-Towns struggle to survive against hunger, isolation, and the Frostmaiden’s unrelenting cold.
For this one-shot/trial, the town of Bremen is starving due to a shortage of food. Will you let the town fall to the Frostmaiden's chilly grasp, or will you save it from starvation?

I’m a cozy-chaos DM and musician at heart and like to run modules in my own style with organic improv, fantasy adventure, and music to set the vibe. I keep a quick and focused pace, encouraging collaborative storytelling as I blend heartfelt roleplay with clear stakes and cinematic moments.
Despite the dark tone of such an adventure, my games are filled with laughter and banter, music cues, dramatic twists, and space for every player to shine—whether you’re bold, shy, or somewhere in between!
