Game: D&D Group preferred: Online Experience: Newish Location/Time zone: est time zone US Availability: weeknights and weekend night Preferred role: player Game style: casual
been trying to find a game. i dm a mini one dungeon with a few friends didn't care for dming though newish got the basics down enough to play though don't have many books yet either hopeful to find a campaign that won't try to restrict characters and classes
We saw “D&D” and took that as an open invitation. Our table runs an AD&D 1st Edition campaign on Sunday nights, starting around 6 PM Central (7 PM Eastern) and running until about midnight. It’s a high-magic, story-rich world with a focus on exploration, lore, and character growth over time.
The system is the original version of D&D, but we help new players through every step of learning it. The current group has a mix of experience levels, and everyone started in the same place. We use Discord for voice, Foundry for maps, and Google Sheets for characters.
If that kind of setup sounds fun, we’d be happy to talk about it more and see if it feels like a fit. You can reach us on Discord at **DMVoidKitten**.
Assuming that you reside on the east coast of the US, the end time would be between midnight and 1 am eastern time, unless the group wishes to push further into the morning, decided each session as we approach session end.
I went to join a dnd campaign a little while ago and he only gave me like 3 choices for class and race because he already had a cleric he wouldn't let me play one he tried to make me choose a different class like fighter cause he didn't have one of those
I know you mentioned evenings, but we have a Call of the Netherdeep Campaign that just started and we lost a couple players (one was a cleric) and we're looking for 2 more players to fill out the party. The DM and another player are in Europe, so the games are at 8:00 AM on Saturday Mornings for me, and I'm in EST
If you're willing to go for a paid game of '24 5e, I've got a Princes of the Apocalypse campaign (currently level 7) Thursday nights at 6:30 EST. We generally go until 9:30 to 10. There are currently 4 players, so you'd be the 5th. Check it out here or on my StartPlaying profile here.
We accept players of any level of experience, and are particularly looking for a Rogue/Ranger or Fighter/Barbarian type, but all are welcome! All content that I own on Beyond (which is essentially everything, plus an extensive selection of homebrew subclasses) is welcome.
