Looking for a DM to run a Sunday night game. We are a group of three players that have been playing together for a few months and are open to starting a new campaign. If you are interested in running a campaign with a consistent group of adult players or are new to DMing. Send me a reply or direct message for more details.
Hey there, Vladimous, We saw your post and figured we’d check in before assuming you were set on a specific edition. We’re running an AD&D 1st Edition campaign on Sunday nights, starting around 6 PM Central (7 PM Eastern) and running for about five hours. The table currently has four players, but we’re looking to bring in one or two more, and we could comfortably seat all three of you if you are interested in learning the system.
The campaign is high magic and story heavy, with a focus on exploration, mystery, and character development. We use Discord for voice, Foundry for maps, and Google Sheets for characters. No prior AD&D experience is required, we walk through everything together as part of the first session.
If that sounds like something that might work for your group, we’d be happy to talk more and see if the timeslot fits for everyone.
Sounds good! Just as a note, the players finished up our first proper session this past Sunday. It was more of a “Session 0.2” than a full adventure — mostly getting the characters they chose to start with from point A to point B.
We don’t really buy into the old “you all start in a tavern” trope, and instead narrate how the party comes together in ways that fit the world and their backstories. We’ll do the same for any new players who join in, so that the arrival feels like a natural part of the story rather than a drop-in.
If your group ends up interested, we can easily work you in starting with next week’s session without disrupting the current flow.
