Relatively new D&D group seeking additional members. We're predominantly in-person, though we do have one online player. Details below:
Game: D&D Group type: Mainly in-person Experience: Mixed; we have both experienced and new players. Location: Greater Vancouver Region, BC. Transit accessible. Schedule: Biweekly on Saturdays, 2:00-5:00 PM PST. Roles sought: Players Game style: Homebrew campaigns with a focus on narratives and character-driven storytelling. The campaigns are not super combat-heavy, though combat is a periodic element, interwoven in mysteries, puzzles, and politics. Players can choose how much they want to focus on their characters' arcs vs focusing solely on the main narratives. Humour and absurdism are encouraged as much as sincerity.
Group culture: We are a pretty diverse group with largely progressive perspectives; queer characters are a common element to our campaigns. All genders and orientations are welcome. Our average age is about 28-38 years. The language we use in play is English. If you have any medical needs or disabilities, we would be humbly grateful for your guidance in how we can best support your joining us.
I'm not in the greater Van area though I am in the Okanagan... I can remote in via discord or zoom, perhaps...?
Which version (2014/2024) of core rules are you using? I have a few toons created,, and can tweak them to whichever core rules you're using. Is the game already underway, and which level shall I join at, if selected to participate?
