I've been wanting to play D&D for years, but I never really get around to try it (social anxiety and having unstable schedules makes it really difficult), but the itch has gotten to a point that I just NEED to try it. I have a vague understanding of the rules from playing BG3, watching videos of plays and trying to read over the rules, but my brain just learns best by doing. I wouldn't mind a oneshot for trying! Patient groups would be preferable, because sometimes I take too long to understand things (sorry).
Game: any version of D&D is fine by me (no paid stuff though) Group preferred: Online (Discord, but I'm also open to other ways) Experience: New Location/Timezone: Europe/Austria • CET/UTC+1 Availability: usually every second sunday between 2pm and 5pm (23rd of November would be the next available sunday) Preferred role: Player Game style: Honestly, just something easy to get a hang of it. A bit of roleplay, a bit of combat, something that teaches me the rules.
