Hi all, I'm a 29M DM from the UK looking for players for my own original high-fantasy campaign set in the world of Elyndor. The story will be a mix of mystery, dark elements, comedy, political intrigue and overarching grand fantasy. I'm hoping for this to be a long campaign spanning many months (up to a year)

Campaign Start:

“The party arrives in Brindhallow, a cozy riverside town famed for its hot springs. Recently, a new restoration clinic has become the talk of the town—locals and even nobles leave its doors calmer, happier… almost too serene. Their vacant smiles and sudden personality shifts feel wrong, and a few uneasy residents quietly ask the party to uncover what’s really happening behind the clinic’s closed doors.”

Looking For:

Players aged 23–40. 

Committed, easygoing reliable people who enjoy a mix of roleplay, exploration, and combat

Comfortable with Discord video calls (everyone at my table so far prefer seeing each other during play)

No Powergaming,    No Meta-gaming,      No Rules Lawyering     

I am very particular about this. This includes min maxing your character, working out optimal spells and subclasses to power through the campaign. 

If you are a DM or Ex DM, please be considerate and try and not overpower me as the DM if I do things my own way or different to how you would do things. 

I would like the priority to be given to roleplaying and exploration, rather than pure combat (but there will be a lot of combat, don't worry)

Is it full.?

I would like to join a campaign - either via Zoom or Discord, or any other online/hosted format. I played a lot of D&D several years ago, and although the game has certainly evolved, my appreciation for it has never waivered. I recently created 6 different level 1 characters I was hoping to play altogether, but I'm also completely open to just playing a single character as part of a group/party. The ability scores for the characters were all generated by using the "D&D Beyond" system (no physical dice rolling or overrides), so they are all 100% legit. They are essentially "brand new", and to the extent necessary/appropriate, I am open to making some changes (e.g. spells, equipment, etc) before beginning an adventure to the extent it helps the party.

Here are the characters (all level 1) I have available, including their total ability scores, net of modifiers/adjustments for race/backgrounds:
