Hey! I’m putting together an online D&D campaign and I’m hoping to find new or beginner players who want to do more than just roll dice — I’m looking for people who want to chat, laugh, make friends, and build a little community outside the game too.
If you’re social, enthusiastic, chaotic in a fun way, and down to vibe and party (the cozy kind, not the “call an Uber home at 3AM” kind), then you’ll fit in perfectly.
🗺 Setting: Homebrew adventure in the Forgotten Realms 🎮 Style: Whimsical, fun, and adventurous — mix of combat, exploration, and RP 📅 When: Thursdays @ 8PM EST 📚 Edition: 2014 5e rules 🎲 Level: Start at Level 6 (standard array) 👥 Players: Looking for 4–6 people (age range 18-35) 🌈 Vibes: LGBTQ+ friendly, Gen-Z friendly, safe space & respectful environment
⚔️ Character Guidelines
No “chosen one” backstories, destiny characters, or heavy trauma plots.
Think Borderlands, Dying Light, Outer Worlds tone: chaotic, weird, sarcastic adventurers just trying to make things work.
You and a group of travelers are making your way down the Triboar Trail, heading toward a familiar town near Phandalin—a place known for sleepy taverns, simple work, and the occasional weird rumor. It should’ve been a calm journey… y’know, birds chirping, wagon creaking, nothing dramatic.
But things are off.
The road feels quieter than it should be. Missing caravans. Odd tracks. Whispers about strange lights in the woods and something lurking just out of sight.
By the time you reach town, it’s clear: Something is wrong—and no one’s stepping up to fix it.
I would like to join a campaign - either via Zoom or Discord, or any other online/hosted format. I played a lot of D&D several years ago, and although the game has certainly evolved, my appreciation for it has never waivered. I recently created 6 different level 1 characters I was hoping to play altogether, but I'm also completely open to just playing a single character as part of a group/party. The ability scores for the characters were all generated by using the "D&D Beyond" system (no physical dice rolling or overrides), so they are all 100% legit. They are essentially "brand new", and to the extent necessary/appropriate, I am open to making some changes (e.g. spells, equipment, etc) before beginning an adventure to the extent it helps the party.
Here are the characters (all level 1) I have available, including their total ability scores, net of modifiers/adjustments for race/backgrounds:
Kylo Hellfyre - Human Fighter S18, D17, C17, I10, W11, CH13. Hit Points:13
a female druid who loves animals, and fights almost exclusively with her animal companions, and acts as a buffer, she would be the group mom trying to keep them out of trouble. She worries about living up to others' expectations and usually puts herself in danger sticking up for other people. She is fiercely protective of anyone she cares for, but she's not a pushover for them either. She is her own person and she understands that,t but just worries if she's living up to people's expectations.
my discord is lemoncreamcake I am a He/Him I have 4-5 years of on and off experience I'd like to play a plasmoid or grung monk, but It's not set in stone and I'm willing to play anything really.
D&D experience (zero is totally fine!): Absolutely none
What kind of character you’d like to play: I'd like to play a bard character, that comes from a family of non-bards (basically my life lol). My character would have difficulties with groups/ found families because they are the black sheep of theirs.

D&D experience (zero is totally fine!): Moderate(?), I have been DM-ing a bit and would like to be a player.
What kind of character you’d like to play: I am pretty flexible, but I love the CHR based characters: Bard is my favorite, then Warlock, then Paladin.
