A buddy and I have been interested in joining D&D for a while but dont know how to get started. looking to find players or group, preferably one with a GM, that have a little experience and are willing to help some new players. Also open to suggestions for websites or apps to help get started. Not looking to pay per session. Any help is appreciated.
You guys are asking the right questions. My advice is to look in the FORUM for other similar new players and form a group first. Look for other players with similar schedules and goals and then post that you are a group looking for a DM and the times that you are available. There are DM’s out there (I’m one) who would love to help new players, but get discouraged when recruiting. If you do this, I guarantee that your group will be picked up quickly. Good luck.
