We're looking to add a few more players to our dnd group. We play online every Thursday at 6:30 pm EST. DnD 5E 2014 - willing to teach new players.
We're a chill group of guys ranging in age from 22 to 37 and have been playing together for about 5 years now.
Mostly run homebrew. We keep it casual and fun but also mix in more serious story elements and character arcs. Usually an even mix of combat and adventuring. We all do voices for our characters but that's not a necessity for you to join.
If you're interested we'll be starting with a oneshot on the 18th of December to see if we all jive together well, then we'd start a new campaign in the first or second week of January from there.
I am quite interested, I have been wanting to get into D&D for a while now. Although my only real experience with the game is a short stint in BG3 and a campaign I barely remember from 2021. I am on pst though so there is a 3 hour difference but I'm not currently employed so its not a problem.

Hi! You've got a lot of posts already but I'll say my husband and I are also interested in seeing this homebrew of yours!
We are also playing in a long term table that runs on Wednesdays weekly and I have my own homebrew I DM every other Sunday and we have been really thinking about finding another, as we enjoy the socialization and really could use more of it! We are both still learning D&D (yep I am homebrewing a DM even as a novice and would be happy to have some tips and suggestions) and are mostly familiar with 2025 rules but we are happy to try the 2014 too. I like to try to do voices for my characters when I can and am able (my favorite to do is my kobold) and a casual style has been enjoyable for us, so I believe we would fit in with the style of play - all that's left is if we jive with you guys. :)

That sounds right up my alley, time zone and start time are a good fit, and having a one-shot for a vibe check shows some wisdom.
