To start my name is Jazzi (she/her) and I was introduced to dnd by my ex almost ten years ago but never found a group after we broke up. I got back into it this last year and a half and found an amazing dm who was patient at reteaching me the ropes. I am now brave enough now to venture out and find another group. A few more things about me. I work as veterinarian technician in the US(est) and my job is rough but rewarding.
My schedule is very chaotic, even more so now that we’re short staffed. I mainly have Saturday and Sunday’s with the exception of every other two weeks, holidays and special circumstances (ei, death or call out). I think I’m pretty good about letting my group know when I won’t be able to attend and don’t mind missing a session and hopping back in.
Also my weekend schedule is 7-7 est with 30 mins give or take for commute so I can always play a little bit later if needed. I am also teaching myself dming so it would be great if there is/was a dm interested in an apprentice.
I have a few campaign ideas lined up for when I actually get good and can dm on my own. I love campaigns that aren’t all exclusive slashing and hacking but maybe some mystery, suspense etc. Honestly throw anything at me and I’ll let you know if I’m interested. Also my laptop is currently dead and I’ve been using my dying tablet that picks and chooses when it wants to work so I can’t always see abovevtt but if someone’s willing to share their screen with me I can adjust. Thank you!!!
I run a 5E 2014 game based in the DMV. One of our players just left and we have some space available at our table. I know this isn't listed in the times when you're available, but we meet once or twice a month at 2 PM ET on Saturdays. We could probably accommodate your schedule- the rest of the group is usually pretty flexible.
We've been playing together for about a year in a very rules light game. Right now we are four middle aged American men. We have what I think is a good mix of monster fighting, puzzle solving and role-playing. I aim for fast paced, funny game with lots of action. The game is set in a homebrew world with an increasing amount of lore that I'm happy to discuss. I run games on Zoom and use D&D beyond to manage characters and roll dice.
Please let me know what you think. Thanks!
