Game style: The game is going to be heavy roleplay with combat mixed in. I like my games and sessions to have a heavy dose of roleplaying but combat is never off the table!
As the title states, I am looking for one player for a long term game! The game has already started, as we are 90 sessions deep, with many more planned. The game runs on every Wednesday and runs from run from 7 to 11 pm central time with sometimes going over as needed but usually never more than 20 to 30 minutes! The setting is Dragonlance, one of DND oldest settings! The game is going strong with a lot of game being based on characters backstories. I am sure we have 50+ sessions left to go. I also am already planning the next game which will be a custom Dread Realm adventure that will be a horror based adventure.
The adventure is an long term one, with my last one going over 79 sessions, with the only reason we stopped (There was maybe 20 more sessions planned) as two of my players had to drop due to new jobs and real life things. I am planning on this one running from 1 to as high as 14 if things go right, though things can change and it could be a bit shorter or longer. This can totally change though, as things go through the months, the length of the adventure and where you end up can change to something higher.
I can say this that it will be focused on Dragonlance, with me using my vast knowledge of the setting (I have literally read every book they have put out, Dragonlance was what got me into D and d in the first place! So expect lots of lore that will be used from the books and such but also lots of my own personal touch.
I do not want to get to heavy winded here, as I tend to start writing and never stop, but I will explain more to those who are interested over Discord. To make things a bit more simple, I made a nice Google form for you to fill out, so I can keep track of responses and such. Trust me, it is not a long test or anything, just some basic things for me to get to know you and such.
To add, let me give a basic run down for who I am looking for:
Be at least 18 because the game can go dark in places! Me and my three other long term players are all older, so you kind of have to be ok with playing with people who been round the block!
Be able to roleplay or be willing to learn. I have a standing rule in my games. I never mind teaching anyone anything if they are willing to learn. My sessions can and will sometimes go the whole session with all roleplay. It makes the game seem more fun, fleshing out your character is one of the things I love to do! This being said, if your character is one of those where they simply "go to sleep" at the end of a day or never say anything, you will have might not want to apply.
If you are new to D and D, please still apply. As I said before, I never mind teaching anyone something, as long as they are willing to learn.
Be respectful of others. Treat those like you want to be treated! Simply put, be a good human!
No spotlight hogs. I promise, if you give me something to use, I will use it, as I have used as little as 2 sentence backstories and made some pretty deep things from. This being said, you have to remember, there is other players here and they have stories to tell as well, I even have a character who has story involved. I try my best to keep everyone with something, you should not have to wait months to have your character's story sit. Give me time and it will be told,
As for a little on me, I love running games as well as playing in them. I love telling a good story, and seeing others have fun. I am willing to put in lots of time to make the game as fun as possible! I love weaving in your backstory into the game as well. So give me something good, and see it flow into the game. I am a super chill person so if something is bothering you in the game, my DM's are always open!
A little note or two about the game is we use Foundry. We use D and D beyond for character creation as well. Games will run every week as stated unless the world ends or something. I can say with my game before, I only had to cancel two sessions out of 81 weeks. So no worries if the game will disappear or not have one! I always give plenty notice if there will be no game.
There will be a few races and classes not allowed due to not fitting the lore or simply noy fitting the adventure in general. But I can promise you, there is a massive list of classes and races available as I own all the books on here plus some other books I have bought through third parties! As for multi classing, I allow it but only if you take a min of 3 levels in each class, this is to prevent a bit of the "Min/Maxing" out there. And if you decide to multi-class in the middle of the game aka. your character decides they wake up and are now a rogue, you have to explain it to me how this came to pass, how you got the training, ETC. Also to have more of a personal feel, I do not allow doubling of sub classes in the game. The following are the party make up as of now:

I do own all of the books here, so there is many choices to races and classes. I also own a few offline books based on Dragonlance so there is a few races and classes there as well.
