I started a teen online D&D (5e) group earlier this year, ages 13-18. I originally planned for myself to be a player (forever DM 2+ years of purgatory), but everyone was new and I was the only one able to DM. I was already burnt out and its simply not sustainable for my mental health going forward. Though as much as I enjoy running the game, particularly worldbuilding, there is a point where it becomes too much to deal with after so long and I really want the chance to experience the other side of the game.
