Me and my buddy are looking for a group to play dnd. I myself have played before so I know the basics, but my buddy is brand new and never played before. lmk if anyone has 2 openings for a beginner free campaign.
I should say I have a character I can re-use but it is a basic human fighter rouge, I could make a new one if needed My friend doesn't care what class I asked him and he said "give me a big sword, or magic, or make me a tank" so he doesn't seem to mind. We have discord if needed for voice chat and whatnot, he's in pst I'm in cst. Idk what else to put just ask whatever questions you have I'll try to answer best I can
I am trying this out for the first time. Used to play d&d many years ago and would like to get back into it. Not familiar with online play. I'm on the East coast for time reference.

Hi Friend! My screen/twitch name is Tobias. We have a small group of 4 currently (including myself) and are in need of a couple of players! We play Sundays at 7pm EST (Based in USA) We are finishing up Rime of The Frost Maiden for 5e, and have a cleric that needs to be played for the last few sessions along with another wizard I believe. That could be a good way for you to see if you like our style. We joke a lot (Family Guy quotes are always happening). We are older. I turn 41 next month and everyone is around that age. However we are pretty consistent and rarely miss a session. If someone drops that character is played by the GM or someone else, or can be set aside, your choice! We are a very relaxed group. We are beginners but have been playing for close to a year or more now. We use Foundry and I have all the automations and animations, token designers, etc. Our sessions are broadcasted and stored on twitch if you want to check them out. www.twitch.tv/tobiasjenn. Our next campaign is being discussed so now would be a great time for you. Rime is currently being run by my friend and he will step back to be a player on the next one so I can run the campaign. Current suggestions are Phandelver: Shattered Obelisk (I kinda gave myself a DM crash course so this would be good for me to learn, plus, I have another mod where all these maps are interactive. They are from FA Battlemaps, I also have their catalogue up until Nov 2025) Just reach out if this sounds good. No worries is not! Oh I also subscribe to Boss Loot and they have some home brew adventures with awesome animations.
