Hello! I'm a adult male (on wife's old account) I'm ready to run my first ever game as a DM. I am very close to being able to run a Campaign in the world of Obojima: Tales from the Tall Grass. If you have no idea what the heck that is, it is an amazing Studio Ghibli/Legend of Zelda inspired setting full of mystery and whimsical magic. It is a mix of fantasy, oddities, and real world "first age tech" (1980s analog tech). There is a crazy potion system with hundreds of ingredients and potions much like the cooking system in Zelda you use three ingredients to brew different potions that can do almost anything. The world has its own races: a frog people called Nakudama, a new take on elves, humans, and Dara a humanoid race that awakens from the forest fully grown with a "manual" on how to conform to society. They come in two forms, the cyclops looking 7 foot tall blue Dara and the small 3 foot two eyed red Daras... The subclasses are so cool. The setting has its own YouTube website and podcast if you want to know more. Check out these YouTube videos quickly describing the subclasses.

This is a world of wacky stories and people as much as combat. If this sounds like something you would like to play let me know, I'll start prepping.
