I’m searching for 2 players to join an upcoming science-fiction D&D campaign launching in a few weeks. The official time is still a bit up in the air but I’m expecting it to be starting around the 7th.
Schedule: Saturdays 7-11pm CST
System: D&D 5e & 2024 (5.5e)

We’re a friendly, inclusive group that values teamwork, roleplay, and having a good time. Experience level isn’t super important — new and veteran players are welcome as long as you’re respectful and communicative.
Expect starships, advanced tech, cosmic factions, and plenty of adventure. The campaign will incorporate homebrew mechanics, so flexibility and willingness to learn new systems is important.
Who this is for:
• Players with at least basic D&D rule familiarity
• Sci-fi fans who enjoy immersive worldbuilding
• Reliable players who can commit to weekly sessions
• Creative players excited to explore homebrew content

My husband and I would love to chat with you about your game. I have been playing off and on for a few years and have a basic understanding of the rules/mechanics. My husband has recently joined, so he is not as familiar, but I help him when needed. We are presently 4 sessions in on Lost Mines of Phandelver, but the DM has ghosted us for the last 3 planned session. My husband is very into sci-fi, I'm more on the fantasy side, but have no problem creating characters to fit into your story. We are PST, so your schedule works well for us.

He's new to D&D and we haven't done any kind of alien races before. We were trying to fit what you needed with the few options you gave us. Anyway, I hope you find the player you're looking for.
For the record the reason I blocked you is because your husband is widely inappropriate when interacting with other people. We began talking about character stuff which admittedly was a bit of a dead end with him but then he decided to just transition to asking about my personal life and judging me on it. Respectfully he is one of the worst people I’ve ever met and I can tell why your last DM ghosted you guys.
