Hey my name is Christopher, 30y old. I’m currently looking for a campaign to join as a player. I’ve been a D&D 5e DM for about 2 years, and I’m really interested in finally experiencing the game from the player’s side. I have a lot of experience using Foundry VTT, and I really enjoy providing immersive visual resources for my players. Because of that, I’m looking for a table that offers a similar level of visual immersion that makes sense within the context of the campaign. As a player, I enjoy roleplaying my characters and developing their story based on the world they are part of. I like to understand the setting and make decisions that are consistent with both my character’s background and the world around them — without acting in ways that would deliberately harm the group, always prioritizing common sense and cooperation.
I’m not a min-maxer.I don’t enjoy multiclassing or building characters purely to make them mechanically overpowered. Instead, I prefer to choose my class, race, and abilities based on narrative consistency and how well they fit both my character and the world they inhabit. I enjoy roleplay, strategic combat where I can think tactically, and investigations that help uncover or foreshadow future plot developments as the story progresses especially when it contributes to my character’s personal growth.
I’m a big fan of medieval dark fantasy, and I would love to find a group that explores this theme in a more serious and immersive tone. I don’t have any issues with sensitive or mature themes. I also appreciate DMs who prioritize player creativity over strict adherence to rules, as I see the rules as tools that can be adapted to enhance creativity and fun. Weaknesses: I can speak English, but I wouldn’t consider myself fluent. I'll do my best to communicate and see this as a good opportunity to improve my speaking skills. Even though I am a DM, I’m not always very confident with the rules, and I may occasionally forget how certain mechanics work. I also dont use D&D beyond, besides to try to find a table to play with
