Game: D&D 5.5e
Group preferred: Face-to-face
Experience: New / a few years / veteran
Location/Timezone: San Jose, CA
Availability: Planning on playing 6PM every other Wednesday (starting March 25th)
Looking for: 2-4 people
Preferred role: DM / Player (We currently have 2 players and 1 DM who will happily pass off that role if we have a DM who is interested)
Game style: We play more casual with a bit of roleplay
Age Ranges/Experience: Open, but prefer to be available every other Wednesday at 6PM if possible. We are trying for consistent games and can go without people one week, but prefer consistency.
Our current group is 2 players who have less than 3 years of experience with D&D and myself as the DM who has over 30 years of experience (off and on) as a DM and player (but I prefer playing if possible). We want to get a regular game going every other week on Wednesday starting March 25th for our session zero where we will talk about what type of campaign to run. Our campaign will start at level 3 and go from there. The goal is a longer running campaign with a custom campaign as an option or a pre-built one if people haven't run it before.
For our playstyle, we like well fleshed out backstories. For example, your family, siblings, upbringing and how the characters know each other (if they do). Those things may come up in play and if I DM I will try to work them into the story.
