LOOKING FOR PLAYERS FOR AN IN-PERSON GAME: I am a DM with 20+ years of experience, starting a Forgotten Realms Campaign at one of the local game shops. I am looking for solid players for in-person on a Thursday or Friday night, 2 times a month, or even weekly. NO Charge, NO experience needed, but commitment to be present for sessions and not miss or flake. The game will be high fantasy that spans the Realms and the planes. Looking for 6 to 8 players in the Wayne, Oakland and/or Washtenaw county areas who can dedicate 3-4 hours per session for a game that has equal parts role play, immersive story, combat and intrigue. The players will also guide the story, have goals, and effect with game play and out of game suggestions the story line and arc. So a combination of Home Brew with in the Forgotten Realms and your own input as you shape your character's destiny. Please NO Rules Lawyers, arguers, or negativists. The number one house rule is that we are all here to have fun so flex to get along, and create enjoyment and joy for all involved. NO Discrimination or inequality, NO overtly sexual tone, comments, or all genders, backgrounds and good humans welcome. Snacks are provided, and the building of lifetime friendships is expected. My background: I am a program manager for a recovery community organization, a volunteer in the local school district, and my wife is an early childhood educator so please do not show up to inebriated to function but we do not deny consenting adults their libations, but we take our gaming seriously so prepare yourself accordingly. I am new to all this online DnD for me it is an art of improv which should be enjoyed in person.
