Wanting to start playing DnD

Hey I've been interested in doing DnD for awhile now but haven’t known really how to get into it due to not being able to find a group or anything. So if anyone needs a player and doesn’t mind teaching a new player I would very much appreciate it. Oh I’m usually available in the evening on weekends and Mondays.
