Hello, I am a DM of just over 2 years and would love to start a new campaign with a new group of people! This group will collectively discuss and decide the type of game they would like to play and what the general plot will be during session 0, then we will make our characters after we set up the campaign premise. Only condition is that the setting will be in my homebrew world of Orbis.

As a bit of a primer for Orbis, I will share its holy book. Serves as an origin story for the world and establishes some major factions and it's religion.

In the beginning, there was the void and the land. The Original Wizard wrought light upon the land and from that light he fashioned the first humans, whom the Wizard taught architecture. Second came the first dwarves, whom the Wizard taught metallurgy. Third came the elves, whom the Wizard taught magic.
With their combined efforts, the city of Itlu had been erected on the first morning of the new century. Each raised its own great house and elected among themselves a representative to lead those houses. The humans declared themselves the house of Rose. The dwarves declared themselves the house of Yucca. The Elves declared themselves the house of Lily.
The Original Wizard then commanded the houses to establish guildhalls where any might enter and be taught. So they did and elected amongst their own the most skillful to lead these guilds. The Original Wizard then summoned the leaders of all the great houses and guilds and appointed them his apostles. To his apostles he taught the forbidden secrets of magic, art, and war. With this knowledge, they formed a council and ruled while the Original Wizard summoned creatures from the sun and set them across the land.
On the 123rd winter, the Original Wizard summoned forth a great beast from the sun. A beast that held the power of the sun within its breath raged and wrought destruction against the great city until the people of Itlu united to subdue the beast. Once it had been subdued, many questioned the wizard's intentions, yet he gave no answer, instead just harvesting its gizzard.
On the 124th spring, the Original Wizard sat in judgment over a dispute within the council when an arcane assassin disintegrated the Original Wizard. The audience and apostles then witnessed a blue light ascend towards the sun and heard a great voice descend upon them, “The time has come for you to rule yourselves. Yet remember me. For in the hour I am forgotten, the seas shall rise against you, and the land shall rend itself apart. The sun shall burn without mercy and the heavens shall loose forth terrors unknown.” Then, there was silence.
