Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online / Face-to-face / either Experience: Veteran as a Dungeon Master (12 Years), 0 as a Player Location/Timezone: Central Standard Time Availability: Fridays after 5PM and Saturdays Preferred role: Player Game style: I'm not really sure, as I've only ever done a few one-shots as a player. As a DM, I always preferred a more investigative, role play adventure than I did a fantasy power trip. I liked the idea that simply swinging a sword wasn't going to solve your problems and that sometimes the easiest path forward was to think strategically and logically. Trudging into a fight at every turn was typically a really hard fight, so my players had to be creative in solving problems their swords or magic wasn't going to bail them out of easily, and that's kind of what I'm looking for. I would also like to request that the campaign isn't a module, but a homebrew.
I would be interested… online only. I’m way over 21 and not interested in silly stuff. Core 5e with homebrew is prefect. I would like to play not DM. Available some Saturdays. I have a family and they come first. Regular schedule preferred. Like every other Sat at 3 or something like that.
Have you tried looking on Startplaying.games? It might be worth a look for finding that perfect game within your parameters. Unfortunately, most listed on there are paid sessions. I am looking at running my own original campaign on there and would be happy to share the link, but otherwise I'd recommend looking on there and reaching out to some of the DMs that catch your attention. I'm happy to answer any questions too if you haven't used it before.
