Looking for Players for a West Marches Campaign!!! [FREE][Monthly][8-16 slots] to clarify im not the dm im a player in the Inquisitors group. Below is the dms summary of the world.
Hey everybody!!!!! I’m going to be running a “west marches” campaign in (hopefully) no later than a month!! I’m gonna leave the details here, if you are interested in joining as a player, hit me up! This is a hobby project for me, so I don’t charge anything.
Setting:
In a faraway island, a society has been forged and nurtured by the benevolence of 3 gods that had been outcast from their pantheon. Prior to civilization, beasts roamed the lands, forcing the people of this land to hide or fight for their survival. These legendary creatures were beaten by the gods, sealed away indefinitely. People began to claim the land, forming a golden age in their era. Many years later, the beasts were suddenly unleashed, and the presence of the gods had vanished, unknown of whether they were killed or if they had simply left.
Logistics:
12-20 players, split into 4 distinct groups with varying levels of RP, puzzles, and combat. These groups are as follows: also */* is how many players each group has
Hunters are responsible for taking down the beasts and will see a much higher combat percentage.4/5
Historians function as trackers and serve a utility role, seeing a higher puzzle percentage.3/5
Diplomats are required to keep the peace of the land, preventing riots and rallying support for their allies. They see a higher RP percentage. 3/5
Inquisitors will investigate the events that took place, attempting to determine whether foul play was involved and bringing justice if so. This role sees a balanced playstyle. 4/5
Each group has first come first serve, so hurry fast! The groups all meet at least once a month separately and are able to communicate with each other via a cool letter writing system and/or there is the possibility of arranging in-character meetings to work together on particular issues.
This is a safe space campaign, so I’ll do my best to make sure all participants are having fun and don’t feel uncomfortable!
