Schedule: Evenings, exact schedule will be determined once we have a group
Roles sought: Ideally looking for 2-3 players.
Game style: Ultimately this will be influenced by the group but I prefer a balanced game (sometimes a bit more combat, sometimes puzzles, and sometimes a bit more social/rp).  Ideally this will be a longer campaign, so we can have a dash of mystery/eldritch horror/shenanigans/etc VS one specific theme.  

Salutations!  We will be using the new 5.5e, which makes this a great opportunity for new players.  This will be my first time using the new rules, so we can look at this as a fun collaboration!

While this will be a long term campaign (homebrew), the group will start with a few one shots so that we all get a chance to make sure it is a fit on both sides.  Also, having something a bit more linear/structured should help with the new rules/finding the characters “voice” (it isn’t always easy to rp the character the first few sessions :) so these can also be a good warm-up).

Guidelines: 

- 21+ only - as I am over 30

- “Yes and” , this is a collaboration between the players.  Attacking other player characters,  general disrespect/harassment towards other players, treating the game like a single-player rpg will not be allowed.  
- LGBTQ+ friendly

What to expect:

- A DM that wants to craft your backstories into the world (not saying how well I succeed:D)

- A DM that enjoys the rule of cool.

- A DM that does try to give npc voices

- A homebrew world that is still in “draft”.  I don’t have every map made, a wiki of lore, and we may find some stuff that doesn’t 100% work.  If your expectation is 100% polished that’s ok, this just won’t be that campaign, but if it’s more important about the group/dynamic and overall journey — this might be perfect.

Allowed Content: 2024 players handbook (possible twilight domain cleric, blood hunter).  I will share the source books I have for character creation.

Bird's Concept ||

- Ysmyra Vilovni is a towering, stoic human barbarian of Ilmater, raised in a secluded abbey as a “Sin Bearer,” destined to carry the pain and guilt of others upon her scarred body. She walks a sacred pilgrimage, enduring suffering without complaint as both devotion and purpose, believing her eventual death will grant absolution to those whose sins she bears. Though cold and distant at first, she is quietly compassionate, speaking in archaic tones and showing kindness through endurance rather than warmth. "

Hello, very interested, haven't played since mid 90s with Dave Arneson in Orlando and never online but if you don't mind having someone green with online roleplaying then please consider me.  The only days I'm not available will be Thursdays.  I am 71, started with DnD before it was DnD, use to go up to Lake Geneva Wisconsin in 1970/1971 to help playtest the rules with Gygax, Arneson & Blume on the weekends.  Have ran a large Open Campaign for 12 years with the original rules(had to come up with a lot on our own back then).  From 1998-now I've only played online Everquest/Everquest2 for my roleplaying kicks and do miss some of the interaction you can have with a regular group.  You can contact me on Discord, smmalecek_74553.  I have DnDBeyond, Fantasy Grounds & Roll20 as well as Zoom.
