The Amber-Mound is an all new setting for DnD 5.5e Built from the Ground up following our "Twin Currents of Power" Majik system in a High-Fantasy Medieval Western that is slowly being slid into a Pseudo-Steampunk era Waring factions, differing communities, and walks of life will collide or Join arms and its for you to decide how the Fate of the Amber-Mound will Change over your time here. Our new Hero-Features add to player depth as you grow as a player your individual character will grow uniquely in a homebrew manner along side the World!
We are a community of 3 DMs (Looking for more) & 20-30 Players, with 60+ PCs! We are looking for DMs interested in joining our DM team, Artists, World Builders and of course Players! We are ran similar to a Westmarch, but our own Amber-Mound Spin, We run 3-5 Biweekly games currently where the each DM on a certain day runs there usual party, with a Set World-Level so other players can easily fill in when needed. This adds to depth so players can exchange information and details in character (This has been extraordinary for the story and world building!)
We also run:
Regular One-shots: taking place in various areas & eras in the World's History, giving players the chance to experience new things, and play at differing levels.
STRIKES: 7-9 PLAYER EVENTS, Played in one-shot, or Short Series format. Similar to a RAID in other video games. These are typically ran by 2DMS!
HUNTS: In World Bounty Contracts more leaned toward combat heavines, in the spirit of the dungeon crawl. With eyes set on the Bounty of a Mythical Creature or Figure for in game reward.
EVENTS: These Are Large scale events inviting all players to partake in a large story telling event, where players will be given spotlight and major world canon beats will unfold. Typically headed by 2-3 of our World DMs (Chaos, but very fun)
