we are new to dnd, but i have played ten candles and a ton of ttrpg-based computer games (bg3, wotr, wh40krt, etc), and my partner has participated in a oneshot before
i am located in the US (ET), while he is currently in Europe (GMT+3), so we would like to get into a game that would be taking place in his evening, my morning/noon on the weekends. we are down for anything with an equal distribution between exploration/roleplay/combat
Hi, my current group is finishing Curse of Strahd currently and moving to a new module aftwards, but I love Curse of Strahd and would like to DM it again. Maybe we can make something work and look for some more players together, or you already got players that DM you, let me know if you would be interested and I will add you on discord
hey, i actually got into a CoS game today solo (due to the time limitations), but if you are interested in dming for both of us we would gladly join a different campaign!
If you’re both still looking for a game, we’re currently looking for players for an online D&D 5e West Marches-style campaign.
Since you’re looking for a weekend time that works for both ET and GMT+3, this may depend on upcoming session schedules and DM availability. The West Marches format is flexible, so players join sessions based on availability rather than being locked into one fixed weekly party.
The campaign is set around Amber City, a dwarven city trying to rebuild its reputation after a past war. Players take on guild missions, explore dangerous areas, uncover secrets, fight monsters, and help shape the world through their choices.
Basic details:
Online D&D 5e
2014 rules-friendly
West Marches-style campaign
Beginner-friendly
Discord-based
No paid campaign
Flexible sessions based on player/DM availability
Mix of exploration, roleplay, combat, and guild missions
Since there are two of you, you’d be welcome to join the player pool together, and depending on scheduling and available slots, you may be able to play in the same sessions.
If you’re interested, feel free to message me with your Discord, both time zones, your usual weekend availability, and whether you’d both be open to a West Marches format rather than a fixed traditional party campaign.
