Ive never played dnd before but I have watched some critical role so i know how the flow of things works. I have a half orc barbarian that i am planning on playing with.
Same here - new, but (mostly) familiar with the rules and structure, looking to start playing in an online group. Any DM's interested in taking on a newbie? :3
Hey! Can I join too? I'm newish to playing, only done an in-person one shot like a decade ago, but I've played a LOT of Baldur's Gate and I want to get more into everything
We've got a pay2play campaign that we've just begun that could use 2 more players (to make it 5 players total). New players are of course very welcome and we're all happy to help you learn the ropes, rules, etc. We're only one session in, and I can already tell we've got a great group that is kicking off.
$15 per session, weekly each Monday at 3:30pm UTC+2 time.
We're all LGBQT+ friendly of course, too!
Let me know if you're interested on discord :) My discord name is: stickfigurea
If any of you are still looking for a beginner-friendly group, we’re currently looking for players for an online D&D 5e West Marches-style campaign.
New players are absolutely welcome, so no worries if you’ve never played before, only watched D&D content, played Baldur’s Gate, read the books, or just made your first character. We’re happy to help people learn as they play.
The campaign is set around Amber City, a dwarven city trying to rebuild its reputation after a past war. Players take on guild missions, explore dangerous areas, meet strange NPCs, fight monsters, uncover secrets, and help shape the world through their choices.
Basic details:
Online D&D 5e using Roll20
West Marches-style campaign
Beginner-friendly
Discord-based
Free / no paid campaign
Flexible sessions based on player and DM availability
Mix of roleplay, exploration, combat, and guild missions
Since this is a West Marches format, you don’t need to commit to one fixed weekly party. Players can join sessions based on availability and available slots.
Half-orc barbarians, brand-new characters, roleplay-heavy players, and total beginners are all welcome.
If you’re interested, feel free to message me with your Discord, time zone, general availability, and a short note about your character idea or experience level.
