Adapting Homebrew and Rules to combine 5e and The Lion Guard!
Game: D&D 5e with Homebrew as appropriate - Originally was adaptation, but mostly core with only neccessary changes to suit animal PCs)
Group type: Online
Experience: Relatively New
Timezone: CST
Schedule: TBD
Windows:
Monday, Wednesday, 9 AM - 2 PM
Saturday, Monday: 12 AM -6 AM
Roles sought: Players
Game style: Eessentially a balanced/traditional experience. Roleplay into combat, exploration. Narrative-focus when it comes to rules and rulings. A loose plot based on your impact on the world toward the Kiff cast and Table Town setting. Very much shaped by the roster that joins.
Content will be kept roughly 13+ due to source material; Not outright dark and edgy or overtly mature, but intense scenes and actions still permitted/featured.
Aiming to play a D&D campaign based on the Disney series, Essentially D&D made to work with Kiff as needed, making good use of the setting and themes. I'm keen on some crossover as well. Especially with Cartoon Cartoons (Courage the Cowardly Dog and similar), which I feel Kiff is very much similar to, but at least currently intend to adapt such things to fit Kiff. A crossover angle may happen for the late-game.
Specifics will likely come from what players are wanting, but my current intention is much like the special "Lore of the Ring Light" where the characters are inexplicably in a more Dungeons and Dragons like universe. Virtual Reality/Simulation (based on episodes involving Reggie's World, a VR game developed by one of Kiff's friends) is also an angle.
Likely the player characters will be children, like the main characters (whether canon or original). It's my favorite show, so trust me there will be plenty that you'll want to do in Table Town!
I'm happy to have new players, and people to newly expose to Kiff! If you're interested, just message me or post in the Topic! Or just join the Discord!
