Welcome to Long Rest Only, a character-driven, beginner-friendly D&D campaign where a group of adventurers—tired of goblin caves, endless side quests, petty bandits, and near-death experiences—have decided they deserve a break.

So they’ve booked a trip to a secluded island getaway.
Sunshine. Beaches. Fancy drinks. Zero responsibilities.

At least… that’s the plan.

Because even on your days off, somehow trouble always finds adventurers.

This campaign blends cozy vacation vibes with classic fantasy chaos—think “working on your day off” energy, but in a magical resort where your biggest concern should be what to order at brunch… not why the island locals are suddenly acting suspicious.

While Long Rest Only has a cozy vacation theme, this is still very much a classic Dungeons & Dragons adventure. Expect monster encounters, exploration, mysteries, dungeon-delving, and plenty of opportunities for roleplay and character growth. The difference? It all happens on a beautiful island getaway—so you’ll be battling danger by day and hopefully relaxing by the beach by night.

Heyo! My gf and I have been looking for a group to join for a while. I’m a very experienced player who has been playing since 2014, my gf is completely new to the game and is excited to learn. We both are open to any roles to fill in the party to give the other players complete freedom with character creation. I go by he/him and she prefers she/her. • What kinds of characters/classes you like to play: I usually like playing the magic classes specifically sorcerer, warlock, wizard, and druid, but I've also played rogue and a little bit of paladin. As for characters I've played a variety of character types and personalities but I always find myself either playing the mom of the group, the voice of reason, or the comic relief those are usually the archetypes I find myself thrust and it is always purely my fault lol.
