Please help me learn DND.

I need help, I wanna get into DND but I don't know anything about. My friends said that I would love it and want to play with me but I don't know anything and I don't wanna ruin the vibe by asking "what stat does that take again?" "can I do this?" "what dice do I need for that?" and things like that. I would LOVE if someone were to call me on discord or text me there and helps me learn the basics.
