new player, looking to play!

i was wondering if anyone has any groups or games going on or starting that would be open to a new player. i've always been interested in d&d (my dad used to play it so i've heard plenty abt it) but i haven't ever found anyone near me that was accepting any new players. so, i was wondering if there are any groups that are welcoming anyone with no experience! i'm 18+ and queer so preferably would like to be in a space that is 18+ and inclusive. my discord is: xpiotos. if you wanna msg me. ty! <3

I'm not exactly a DM but I have a small private and 18+ discord server dedicated to D&D that I'm working on building out. I currently have a group of friends on there that I'm in an active campaign on Sunday's with, as well as a few other D&D interested and related friends. We're even working on starting another campaign with one of the other members as the DM in the server itself. If you're interested in joining the server I could send you an invite, even if you don't or can't join the game we're starting it might be a good way to network out and find other players who have or are starting other games you may be able to join. (I know that's essentially what this is too, I just like the idea of something on a bit of a smaller scale, I would just like to expand it a bit beyond what it is at this point.)
